Hello everyone 💗 Today I'll talk about assessment; its importance and types of it. We all know that assessment is quite important. There are some types of assessment, such as: 1) summative 2) formative 3) traditional 4) alternative 5) performance- based assessment 6) authentic; self- assessment and so on. As future teachers is important to assess pupils in the right way. Pupils belong to different levels. Some of them may be good at speaking, listening or reading while others may be good at grammar or writing. Pupils are different from each-other and we should respect that. We should assess them in the right way and evaluate their progress. Is important to tell them how far they've come. That will help them build their self-confidence and motivation to keep going despite difficulties. But how can we assess our pupils? One form of assessment is the exam.
